Sunday Ride..

yep.. we did get rain.. but, not much.. during the worst of it we were under the awning at BM.. Albert was there also but he headed for home.. same as Nickel and fam.. next time.. new to the group Mike, joined us and we headed to the river for a little river front cruzin'.. we did make a couple of small detours, but hay, it's cruzin'.. all in all it was pretty nice.. not really so-cal warm weather cruzin' but just the same we were on our bikes and playin'..
and Mike, do bring your wife next time.. try me at Ccooper4919@aol and we will get her on a bike..

well.. it looks like showers this afternoon.. but we will wait and see.. if it is dry we ride.. for those of you who want to ride in the wet have at it.. LOL.. don't you love spring??.. reminds me of the Doobie Bros.. minute by minute.. next weekend is Moms day.. take Mom for a ride?? long range forcast is dry and warm..

Sunday Cruzin'

well.. i know deep subject.. as of right now it might be dry in the afternoon.. so we shall see.. i just prefer it to be dry.. cloudy ok.. cool ok.. after all we did ride the Sat. before the big snow storm this past year.. more fun if the sun shines..

The Oregon Coast..

so we did a little exploring this weekend of the oregon coast.. ended up riding at Manzanita Or. on Suday .. there is a great state park there.. really nice camp grounds.. sorry no photos of the camp spots, but, nice.. trees, green grass, shade, airport, boat launch, yurts and short trip to town and a great litte pub we wandered into.. the San Dunes Pub.. good pub food and a selection of North West beers.. live music on the weekends.. and best of all a back patio to enjoy the beers while enjoying the sun.. Manzanita is about 20 miles south of Seaside.. and a little over 2 hours from VanPort.. could be a fun place to go for a weekend ride..

This is a great day..

we are at the coast.. rain.. no ride today.. but.. my woman.. the love of my life has just passed the most important test of her life to date.. she is now an LPO.. which means.. job security.. no.. yes.. but.. important never the less.. a very good thing.. i am so proud of her.. so now of to bed.. LOL.. really.. hopefully a little sun tomorrow and a nice ride around Manzanita Or..

ok.. we are up and running..

good afternoon fellow fat tire riders..
so lets get this thing going.. time to ride.. enjoy the "Great North-Wet".. and hopefully a little sun thrown in there for fun..
so what i was thinkin'.. during the summer months leave the "Monkey" at 7pm wednesdays.. (monkey closes at 7.. so if you need a fix get er done before they close).. then head for a waterin' "hole" (hole that gets most votes wins) and decide what is next.. now we dont have to take the short route to the "hole".. no, we can take the high road, long road most fun road.. how's that sound?? let me know.. im not the boss of this.. just puttin' out ideas..
after or during wed. ride, choose what ride to do on sunday.. who's house for a bbq.. whatever.. then i will post it here.. no phone calls.. keep it easy..
so get your bikes waxed..
